The H family - Dayton and Springfield Family Photographer

I know I have mentioned it before...but, seriously, I LOVE what I do!

I had a blast with the H family; it was a gorgeous evening (even if the heat and mosquitoes were not-so-Octoberish) and this family was fun, outgoing, and quite good-looking.

Most of all, though, I could tell that they were truly connected and enjoyed each other...there is nothing better than capturing moments with a family like this!

By the end of the session, little Mr. K even said he wanted me to go with them on their train trip...he sure knows how to make a girl feel special!!!

I even got Mr. Cooper (the dog) to give me a "smile!"

I love these next 2, b/c it shows the true connection this family has...just having fun together.

And, this last one, really speaks to me. I was telling them that I do these engagement sessions where the couples are all googly-eyed and mushy (which is GREAT!)...

but when my kids are almost 16...I want to be like these 2...still flirting like they just got engaged...THAT is what it is all about!

Sarah (and Luke) - Dayton and Springfield Senior Photographer

I had a great time spending the afternoon with Sarah, one of my senior representatives. She brought along her boyfriend Luke - and we all enjoyed the "fall" weather (80 degrees in October...what is that about???).

Enjoy your sneak peek...I know you are so happy that we got your sunset pictures! :)

Amber and Cody E-session - Dayton and Springfield Wedding Photographer

Considering I never wanted to do engagement and wedding photography...it is a little humorous that I now LOVE, LOVE, LOVE working with couples.

Amber and Cody are no exception! They were relaxed and natural in any setting - the woods, an alley, eating an ice cream cone! I don't think they could take a bad picture if they tried!

It is so inspiring to hang out with and capture fresh, new love. It reminds me to create and continue re-creating those moments in my own life.

Amber, I know that you waited and looked for a LONG time to find a photographer that "moved" you. I hope that this sneak peek makes you feel good about your choice!

I am so excited about your wedding and bridal session in a few weeks!

Gretchen and Mike - Dayton and Springfield Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of spending a Saturday with Gretchen, Mike, and a TON of people that love them immensely.

I have to admit...I cried like a baby at the ceremony. There was something about this couple - this marriage - that you just knew was a divine appointment. It was truly an honor to be there and to capture those moments for them.

Their families and friends were a blast to be around...lots of smiling faces and jokes to go around. Thanks for letting me spend the day with you, and for making my job so enjoyable!

Here are a few from your day! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

I just love the way they look at each other!

Little Miss K - Sneak Peek #2 - Dayton and Springfield Newborn Photographer

Here are a few more from my recent newborn session:

Family Session - Dayton and Springfield Family Photographer

I had the privilege of spending time with some awesome people recently. Two sisters and their families - everyone was absolutely hilarious!

One of the boys even brought his camera and snapped some pics of me and acted as my assistant. How fun is that?!

Here are a couple from that session:

Family Session - Dayton and Springfield Family Photographer

So, last week another photographer and I decided to swap family sessions. We had it all planned out. You know:

"Sure, we will all meet up and I will take pictures of your family and you will take pictures of my family!" Easy enough, right?

Well, let's just say that next time, we might plan the details just a little differently. ;)

We can also say that it was probably a little entertaining to any onlookers watching 2 photographers try to wrangle not only other kids (which we are used to) but also our own (who all have anti-camera photographer child sydrome) while the dad's looked on helplessly!

Seriously, though, it was a fun time...and amidst the chaos, we each even got some keepers for each other.

Here is Amy's sneak peek...

And, last, but DEFINITELY not least..."Ode to some awesome jeans."

p.s. If you are in Columbus, and need a photographer - Amy is your girl!!!
