{Cody & Julie} :: Dayton and Springfield OH wedding photographer

This was one of the most awesome sessions I have had in a long time.

I had been sick and battling wicked allergies for several days, and wasn't feeling really excited about lugging my camera around for a couple of hours.

We headed out anyway, and then they said the words...the words that sound like angels singing a Hallelujah chorus to any artist. These words:

"Seriously, you are the artist...we trust you...just tell us what you want us to do."

All of a sudden, I was refreshed and ready to rock the session. I had a gorgeous, trendy couple who was up for anything, beautiful light, funky locations...I was as happy as could be.

I am sure they got a kick out of me getting excited and yelling, "These are SO cool!" and "Oh, man, you guys...these ROCK!" What can I say? I get into what I am doing! ;)

Thanks for "getting me" and trusting me to get awesome images for you. You definitely know how to make an artist's day...and to guarantee the best images for yourself!

Enjoy your sneak peek...can't wait for the wedding!

{Aimee & JD} :: Dayton and Springfield OH weddinh photographer

Aimee, JD, and I finally were able to dodge the bad weather of late and head out for their engagement session.

The gardens they chose were absolutely beautiful - lush, green, and gorgeous light. I guess all the rain was good for something, after all.

This session took me a little longer than usual, but for a good cause - these two were hilarious. In between the "serious" shots, there was lots of pointing, giggling, funny-face-making, and just plain goofiness. I can see why I have heard they are both such good teachers.

Hope you both enjoy the sneak peek; I am looking forward to the wedding in a few weeks.

{sweet baby} :: Dayton and Springfield OH baby photographer

There is just something about little babies that makes people act foolishly. You know what I am talking about - the googly eyes, the jibberish sounds we make, mixed in with random high pitched words...all to get this new life to look at us and smile.
Little C was no exception - those blue eyes and that pouty-little-chin-tuck...she was a doll.
As you can see...she is absolutely adorable; she also happens to be super sweet. Her daddy is deployed right now, so I hope he will find these pictures extra special. (You should her face when she hears daddy on the phone...it is enough to make even the hardest heart soften!)
