{Sam & Kara:: Wedding} Dayton and Springfield Wedding Photographer

Young. Beautiful. In Love.

It is the stuff of fairytale romances. Kara and Sam took that idea and made it a reality for their wedding.

A winter theme - complete with white, red, snowflakes, and Christmas trees - made for a gorgeous setting for their special day. They were full of energy and full of adoration for each other.

Thanks for letting me capture your memories for you!

Special shout-out to Stacey! Thanks for coming to second shoot with me! Stacey did an awesome job...check out her blog for some of her images!

{Picture of the Day}

I am editing like crazy to get my last sessions done before I close up shop for the holidays on the 14th.

In the midst of all the pictures, I find that I just can't take my eyes off this one for some reason. Obviously, she is gorgeous, but there is something about it that just draws me in.

The dramatic lighting, the pensive look, the "outsider looking in" feel to it...I just love everything about this picture. So, I decided to share.

{Product Showcase = Storyboards}

There are a lot of exciting changes for Brandy Ellen Photography in 2009.

New, flexible portrait collections and boutique products and gifts are sure to make showcasing your images even more fun!

Storyboards are collages with several pictures that tell a story and evoke emotion in the viewer.

These are perfect for any session - birth, newborn, family, senior, or wedding. You can choose the pictures, or you can have Brandy choose the images for you. The only limit is our imagination, which, as any child will attest to...has NO limits! :)

Storyboards can come in any size - 5x10, 10x20, and 20x20 are the most popular. Storyboards can also be presented in a variety of ways: mounted and set on a ledge, framed, or presented as a gallery wrapped canvas.

Here is an example of a 10x20 storyboard canvas:

{Birth Photos}

It has been brought to my attention that I never posted pictures from the birth I recorded a couple months ago.

Doing births is BY FAR the most awesome thing I have the privelege to do. There is nothing more incredible to me than a new life. It brings me to tears every time I even think about it.

So, to be invited in to the most intimate and special moment in a family's life is the greatest honor I can imagine.

Thanks for letting me share your joy!

{Anne & Todd = E-session}

What an absolute blast...I had the. best. time. with these 2 (and Elliot and Bailey, and Anne's Dad).

I really felt like I was simply a bystander, capturing Anne and Todd as they shared an intimate afternoon with each other and their dogs.

To me...this is what I love the most about photography. Maybe that is why I have grown to adore doing weddings and birth photography...b/c I get to simply watch & record. What an honor!

Thanks for letting me hang out by the River with ya'll...I can't wait to be an onlooker in a couple months as you share your commitment with those who love you!
