Wedding - Greg & Beth

This wedding was held at the Dayton Art Institute, and it was SOOOO fun! Greg & Beth (and their family and friends) were absolutely gorgeous, the venue was fabulous, and, most of all, everyone was relaxed and having a great time.

Here are a few (okay, a bunch!) from the day:

Special thanks to my friend, Tracy, for letting me come hang out! You rock, and I am thankful to know you!

After Birth Baby Gear - Commercial Session

The owner of a local (and web-based) sling company asked me if I would take some pictures for her new website. Since I am a HUGE proponent of babywearing, and I own an arsenal of my own slings and other babywearing gear; I was happy to oblige!

There is tons of research out there indicating that babywearing is great for both mom and baby/toddlers. Bonding is promoted between the two, baby is able to have their innate need for security met, and mom is able to still get a ton accomplished.

If you have a new (or even older baby) and have not tried the art of babywearing yet, check out Heather's site at www.afterbirthbabygear.com Once you have used a sling...you will wonder how you ever got along without it!

Becky - Senior Session

The other day, I had a senior session with 2 best friends - Sarah & Becky. They have known each other since the 1st grade, and they are WILD!!!! They definitely kept me on my toes.

We had a blast, and even did some trash the dress pics - prom style! Here are a few of Becky's pics:

Don't worry, Sarah, yours are coming soon!

Baby B & Family

After a couple of days of intense thunderstorms, I got to enjoy the cool air and sunshine while doing this session with B and his family. B is 6 weeks old, and has 2 super-fun sisters, E & E.

Here are a couple from that session:

Long-lost friends...

We had the pleasure of hanging out with some of our "long-lost" friends yesterday. Mom and Dad were in our wedding, but shortly after, we all moved to opposite ends of the country. We have stayed in touch, but they had never met our kids, and we had not met 2 of theirs.

SO, they came up to Cincinnati for vacation (don't ask me why?) and we drove down there to meet up. And, when I saw there girls, of course I had to take a couple of pics...they are gorgeous. Here are just a couple of the pics.

Super-cute kids - Melissa and Dave's Wedding - June 28, 2008

So, this past weekend, my AWESOME friend, Tracy, let me tag along to one of her weddings. She got to have some company; I got to watch an amazing event photog in action, and get of a taste of events to see if I want to do them on my own.

Seriously, there were some of the cutest kids EVER at this wedding, and, being the child photographer that I am...how could I NOT take pictures of them? Thanks, Melissa and Dave, for letting me hang out at your wedding and help photograph your special day.

I will post some of my pics from the actual wedding soon, but here are some of the cute kids!
